Location and rooms are perfect. Appreciated the food at their on-site restaurant Cafe del Mundo. It was worth its 3 stars.
-
This is an awesome and very clean property with pleasant location and rooms. This hotel is equal to 3 stars.

The Location was in the center and I found my room to be clean and the staff friendly. What makes me sad is the people who complain about the room or the breakfast as they must be aware of is it is a 3rd world country and in the west you would not get a dorm bed for the price. I shall return if I am in La Paz again.

Location was great, close to San Francisco and ans all relevant markets. Water was hot, very weak pressure, though. Room was comfortably large and very sunny, thus warm. 3 blankets avoided freezing during the night compared to other accomodations I heard of that were so cold that sleeping was not possible.
Breakfast was very poor. But do never put any relevance to breakfast included in the room rates throughout Bolivia's budget accomodations. You can have a wonderful breakfast on every market nearby. Internet was not available in the room, but very fast once in the lobby or breakfast room.

Located in an area with lots of things to see and do. It seems like many tour operators use this hotel as a pickup location even for tourists who are staying elsewhere. I needed a bus to Copacabana and the girl in the travel agency in the hotel set me up with a nice bus that uses Hotel Sagarnaga as a pickup location (Diana Tours). This place was really convenient and the views from the rooms are good.
The first night I spent at this hotel was my first night in South America and the night before I stayed at a Marriott in Los Angeles. I have to admit that I was initially shocked by the change in hotel standards. This is not the United States and things are very different. After traveling around Peru and Bolivia for a couple of weeks, I ended up back at Hotel Sagarnaga and realized that I really liked the place.

Location is great and WIFI works almost in all hotel
The blankets were very dirty and with lot of black long hairs, only one half roll of toilet paper. The Men in the restaurant was very arrogant and did not show at all to be working for the customers but instead looked like he was a big arrogant boss who all people must beg for the service. He did not even say hello to no one we were observing and he even shouted to one lady who could not stay for breakfast but she wanted only bread to take away. The quality of the breakfast is terrible.

The staff was friendly, elevator (we stayed at 5th floor), hot water, we could leave our luggage after checkout in hotel till evening.
Our room was next to elevator - noise, the room was dark and not so clean including the bathroom, hot water in the shower is connected to electricity (as in many places in Bolivia) but this was not grounded properly and it was causing light electric shocks.

perfect location to wander around La Paz. Close to the Witch market, local main markets, San Francisco Church, Murillo Square all within walking distance.
Shower sucks.

Hotel staff was really friendly, great location! We had a great time to hang around centro around hotel!
-
Great location close to the witches market!
It was quite chilly at night (late April), I don't think the hotel had heating.
-
It was a great value for the price. They had an elevator. They had helpful staff. It is located right in the middle of the city and we could walk around and do shopping and see sights. The staff arranged for shuttle services twice.
Some of the staff did not speak English but that is to be expected in the middle of Bolivia. The continental breakfast was basically juice/coffee/tea and a roll.

I did like that there was a hot water always when we needed as well as television worked well.
Breakfast was very poor in terms of the service as well as food(and Im considering that it is the third world country, however, can compare with many other hotels in Peru and Bolivia-and which were much cheaper) Although, the worst thing was that they cheated on us as they provided us a taxi to a bus terminal(which costs normally max 10Bolivianos) with saying that it will cost 10 max 15 bolivianos and the taxi driver asked 30 !! which is ridiculous and did not want us to pay any less even though we agreed on something else. Really not nice!!!! The taxi driver told us that he had to pay the hotel 10Bolivianos and that the hotel told him to ask as much. Good service, wasnt it?!

Great central location on saganarga street, friendly and helpful staff, great value for money, breakie a bit stingy but its South America after all. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Nice staff
Breakfast is very basic / WIFI is not available correctly in the rooms and you need to go in the lobby to get a fair signal.
